The  project involved the redevelopment of a large portion of the ancient village of  the municipality of Castel Frentano, through the recovery of public areas, in  order to impart not only friendliness and urban decor, making the city center  more "friendly" in its overall appearance but especially to relaunch  it as the primary place for meeting and social, cultural and economic life.
      The  project has interested the environmental recovery and functional public spaces  in the city center, with the remake flooring, networking techniques and with  the inclusion of items of street furniture. The materials used were brick,  cobblestones, porphyry and Perlatino Pacentro (Majella limestone), which are  used depending on the location of the various interventions and considering the  existent. The materials, their poses and the contrasts have contributed to the  functional differentiation of spaces.
      The  use of lighting was very important to both the choice of lanterns cantilever  type, in accordance with the historical context, both for the use of LED  devices, driveways, on the floor, in the form of "stone" and cube of  "porphyry", which define the spaces of the night, they point out the  trend, enriching interesting scenic values. These points of light, cleverly  arranged within the various interventions, creating, in the evening hours, a  real light signaling, non invasive and very charming, which runs through the  entire city center.
